Alzheimer's Facts

Alzheimer's Disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. According to the Alzheimer's Association, currently, 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's Disease. By 2050 this number is expected to rise to 14 million. Worldwide it is estimated that 50 million people are living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.



Caregiver needs

More than 16 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer's or other dementias, according to the Alzheimer's Association. Often these are spouses or relatives who lovingly help.

Loving Care Grants
Our Loving Care grants are designed to help unpaid caregivers by providing paid care to offer a respite break - allowing caregivers time to rest,refresh and rejuvenate themselves.
